Ministers of State of the 26th Dáil

On July 12, 1989 the 21st Government of Ireland was officially appointed by Dáil Éireann. The new Fianna Fáil–Progressive Democrats government was lead by An Taoiseach, Charles Haughey.
On that day Haughey announced to the Dáil that the Government would appoint Vincent Brady, TD to the post of Minister for State at the Department of the Taoiseach with special responsibility as Government Chief Whip. On July 19, 1989, the Taoiseach announced that the Government had appointed the other Ministers of State.

On February 11, 1992 the 21st Government of Ireland was officially appointed by Dáil Éireann. The existing Fianna Fáil–Progressive Democrats government continued under the leadership of An Taoiseach, Albert Reynolds.
On that day Reynolds announced to the Dáil that the Government would appoint Noel Dempsey, TD to the post of Minister for State at the Department of the Taoiseach with special responsibility as Government Chief Whip. Noel Treacy was also appointed Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach. On February 13, 1992, the Taoiseach announced that the Government had appointed the other Ministers of State.
