Minister of Foreign Affairs (Iran)

The first Minister of Foreign Affairs (or Foreign Minister) of Iran was Mirza Abdolvahhab Khan Mo'tamed od-Dowleh Neshat who served between 1819 and 1824. Current Minister of Foreign Affairs is Manouchehr Mottaki, appointed in August, 2005.
Hamid Reza Assefi is the official spokesman.
