[edit] Synopsis
While Brandy and Mr. Whiskers are having a picnic, Brandy goes to get something else for the picnic and she leaves Mr. Whiskers behind to ensure that the food doesn't get eaten by ants and so forth. Mr. Whiskers hears something in the bushes, in which he turns his back on the food causing Gaspar and some other jungle denizens to come to eat much of the food, though when Mr. Whiskers turns around he doesn't notice what happened and he thinks Brandy just provided half eaten food. Mr. Whiskers then hears the noise in the bushes again though, in which he goes to examine causing Gaspar and company to come in and finish up the good and stealing the cloth it was sitting on. Brandy arrives and she yells at Mr. Whiskers, in which he explains about the noise he heard in the bushes, though Brandy doesn't believe him and she begins to head home. However, the bush begins to rattle and Brandy shrieks because she doesn't know what it is, but when it turns out to be a baby animal she considers it cute and she tries to speak with it. Mr. Whiskers hates babies though because of an incident that occurred during his youth, though Brandy tries to figure out what the animal’s name is and where it’s parent are, though when it appears to be alone, she decides to take it home to take care of it for the time being. At the house, Brandy tells Mr. Whiskers to keep an eye on him while she goes to try to figure where the animal’s parent are. Brandy puts up a poster that has the information on the baby, which causes Lola Boa, Ed, Cheryl and Meryl to become confused as to what she is doing. Brandy explains what happened, in which Cheryl and Meryl proclaim that they believe the animal may be a Tapir and then Ed explains that it belongs to a certain family classification of animal, in which Brandy goes to try to find it’s parent though she doesn't have any luck. Brandy returns home to find that Mr. Whiskers and the Tapirs are having a blast, though the Tapir is looking up to Mr. Whiskers as his role model, though Brandy is displeased because Mr. Whiskers isn't a good role model and she is afraid that he will teach the baby Tapir the wrong things. She then forces Mr. Whiskers to improve his image, such as eating vegetables so that the baby Tapir will eat them, though Mr. Whiskers spits them out in Brandy’s face, causing the baby Tapir to do the same thing. Brandy then gets frustrated and she yells at Mr. Whiskers, telling him that he isn't a good role model. Later, Mr. Whiskers is talking to the Tapir stating that it shouldn't do the things he does, in which Mr. Whiskers shows him by doing the actions himself, such as tossing random rocks and pulling on a jaguar’s tale, though the jaguar eats Mr. Whiskers. Brandy comes along and gets the jaguar to spit Mr. Whiskers out, in which she then insults Mr. Whiskers for doing something so stupid, though when Mr. Whiskers says she is mean the baby Tapir rushes up and attacks Brandy, forcing her over a cliff in which she plummets into the water. Mr. Whiskers, in shock about what the Tapir did to his best friend, explains that one shouldn't do such things because friends are supposed to help each other, in which Mr. Whiskers then jumps in after Brandy, though they both wind up in the strong current and they grab onto a piece of lumber and eventually end on the beach. However, when a pack of crocodiles are on the beach and they get ready to eat Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, a noise frightens them off, which turns out to be the baby Tapir’s fake growl. Brandy asks why he did it and the Tapir explains that he wanted to help his friends like Mr. Whiskers told him too, in which Brandy becomes proud of Mr. Whiskers for actually being a decent role model. The baby Tapir’s parent come and they take their child, in which Brandy tells them that Mr. Whiskers deserves the thanks because he did a great job, though the episode ends with the parents walking away and the baby Tapir makes an arm-pit fart noise in which Mr. Whiskers taught him how to do, which causes the parents to bicker over whom farted.
