Mine Kuramae (倉前 美音 Kuramae Mine) is a fictional character in the anime and manga, Fruits Basket.

She is a seamstress and loves fashion & designing clothes. She is very involved in her work and likes to wear the uniforms (such as school uniforms, nurse outfits, maid uniforms, and such) that she designs.

Mine works at Ayame Sohma's clothing shop as a seamstress and designer. She greatly contributes to the shop, and she insists on dressing up every girl she sees in the outfits she designs. At one point, she even insists on dressing up Tohru Honda, so that Ayame can spend some time alone with Yuki, his younger brother.

In volume eight (of the Manga) it is stated that Mine is someone that Ayame feels he can confide in. Mine will do almost anything for Ayame. It is later revealed that the two have actually been secretly in love. Just after confessing his love for Mine, Ayame is freed from the curse and is able to embrace her without transforming.
