"Mindy Loves Josh" is the 44th episode of the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh. It first aired in the US on October 22, 2006 and in the UK on October 25, 2006.

[edit] Plot summary
Josh and Mindy try working on a science fair project together, but realize that they have many different ideas, so they agree to make their own projects. Mindy then tells Josh that she loves him, which scares him. When he asks Drake for advice, he tells him to break up with her, but Josh thinks that he might love her back. When Drake finds out that they are making separate science fair projects, he tells Josh that Mindy is just trying to distract him from his project so she can beat him, like she always has in the past.
They both make Photon Cannons for the science fair, but Josh's project wins. Afterwards, he confronts Mindy about her plan to try to distract him. Mindy tells him that she let him win. He doesn't believe her, so she shows him that her cannon was much stronger, as it puts a hole in the wall. She also tells him that she was being sincere when she told him she loved him. Josh feels really bad about accusing Mindy of lying and decides to give her the ribbon and trophy he won, because she deserved them. He tells her that he doesn't know what love feels like because she is his first girlfriend. Mindy feels the same, so they agree to break up but still remain friends.
Meanwhile, Drake eats Megan's big cookie, which really upsets her. To get revenge, Megan paints his hands and feet green while he is asleep. When he wakes up he freaks out. He shows Josh, and they try to find out what's wrong with him. They find out about a rare skin disease, "Derma Temeculitis," that can only be cured by soaking his hands and feet with an acid that is found in lizard urine. Drake gets some lizards and collects their urine, and decides to try the cure. While he is soaking his hands and feet, Megan tells him that it was a trick, he doesn't really have a skin illness.

Josh and Mindy break up in this episode, after dating for about a year. They started dating after last year's science fair.

- Josh finally beats Mindy, but only because she let him win since she felt bad about beating Josh all the time.

- There are two mentionings of Josh slamming the door in Mindy's face. But if you look closly, you can see that she backs away before the door can hit her.
