[edit] Biography
First appearance: Educating Grim
The iconic "popular girl," obsessed with proving her worth to Mandy, who doesn't much care for the spoiled girl. Her character is similar to that of Princess Morbucks from The Powerpuff Girls in that she considers herself superior to her classmates and her father buys her outrageous gifts (such as a pink motor-scooter named "Princess" in the episode Secret Decoder Ring). She is also similar to Elisabeth Delmas from Code Lyoko, though she does not want to be accepted by either Mandy, Irwin or Billy, whom she ultimately considers "losers" (the word she uses to demean her classmates). Mindy is red-haired and freckled and she describes herself as "much prettier" than Mandy. Mindy is also similar to Angelica Pickles of Rugrats and All Grown Up and Veruca Salt from Roald Dahl's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, among other spoiled, rich, or popular females in fictional works.
As with most cartoonized "popular girls", Mindy is shown as a freckle faced red head.
In the episode Educating Grim, the origin of the rift between Mandy and Mindy was first revealed. When Mindy first moved to Endsville, she wanted to be Mandy's friend. But at that same moment, she was talking too much. Mandy then said "shut up!", devastating Mindy. Mindy then decided that if she couldn't be Mandy's friend, no one would. She is very jealous when she sees Mandy with somebody and tries to steal all her friends. In Educating Grim she tried to steal Grim from Mandy and she easily manipulated him, saying to him that he is her "best friend." But when Mandy appeared with Abraham Lincoln, she again tried to steal Mandy's friend, trashing Grim, who returned to Mandy.
Mindy likes insulting people, as it makes her feel better about herself. In the episode Modern Primitives she said that Fred Flintstone (a.k.a. Jake Steel) smelt like "Yabba Dabba Doo-Doo". She generally characterizes her classmates (Billy, Mandy and Irwin in particular) as losers. A popular quote from her is: "And in case you didn't know, that was sarcasm". Mindy can be found teasing Billy and Mandy, but they do get her back or just pick on her like in the episode Which Came First?, when a spider was tossed right at her face.
She has won a number of school beauty pageants (My Fair Mandy), is a class president (Zip Your Fly), is a member of "International Association of Cool People" (Night of the Living Grim) and pitches for a winning Little League baseball team (The Bad News Ghouls).
In the episode Zip Your Fly Mindy's mouth was zipped off by Mandy and was held captive by the students in her classroom when they went wild when Mandy's head was switched with a fly's head. Mindy was a racer in the episode Go Kart 3000 and failed to win because she was caught in traffic. She ended up losing to Pud'n. She also attended the campfire with Billy, Mandy, Irwin, Pud'n, Sperg, and Grim in the episode Home Of The Ancients. In A Grim Day, Grim was forced to work on a show called "The Grim Adventures of Pud'n and Mindy," which apparently mostly consisted of Mindy smacking him in the head with his own leg, and forcing him to say "I'm an uncool loser" again and again. It is revealed in some episodes mindy has a gross side such as picking her nose and eating vomit.
Mindy's hatred for Mandy has apparently driven her to schizophrenia. In The Wrongest Yard she hears the voice of a cheerleading trophy, which suggests to Mindy she harm Mandy to prevent her from being head of the chearleading squad.
In the episode where she made her first appearance, Educating Grim, Mindy doesn't wears socks. But in later ones like Zip Your Fly, she does.
