Mind over mountain

The Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race, also commonly known as the MOMAR, is an offroad multi-sport event where competitors kayak, mountain bike, trail run, and orienteer their way from one checkpoint to another. Participants can race solo or in a team of two or four. The race last between four to eight hours and travels over 40-50km.

The MOMAR first started in 2000 in Cowichan Bay, BC, CANADA. This race attracted 44 racers. In 2006, the MOMAR had three races and totaled 550 competitors. It is largest race series in Western Canada.
