Minamoto no Nakatsuna (?-1180), was an elder son of Minamoto no Yorimasa, was on active service was fighting in a Battle of Uji in 1180 that part of Gempei War. He, his father and young brother Minamoto no Kanetsune were fighting against Taira samurai. But They weren't succeed to defeat enemy so returned to Byodo-In temple for safe short time. While Yorimasa's sons defended the temple, Yorimasa was on his way to Seppuku rather than surrender. Nakatsuna fought but died afterward.
