Minamishitara District, Aichi

Minamishitara (南設楽郡; -gun) was a district located in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

As of 2004-final population count, the district had an estimated population of 16,703. The total area was 381.06 km².

The district used to have the town of Horai and the village of Tsukude but both municipalities were merged with the old city of Shinshiro to form the new city of Shinshiro on October 1, 2005. Minamishitara District was dissolved as a result of this merger.
