Minami Con is one of the UK's longest-running anime conventions. It was founded in 1995 "to promote the cuter side of anime". It is based in Southampton, a fact testified to in its name, as the Japanese word minami translates as 'South'.
Unlike AmeCon and AyaCon, it runs annually, but is somewhat smaller in scale.
