Mina Ahadi

Mina Ahadi (born 1956) is an Iranian Communist political activist and current member of the Central Committee and Politburo of the Worker-Communist Party of Iran.
Mina Ahadi is the main figure of International Committee against executions and International Committee against stoning.[1]

Mina Ahadi was born in Abhar, Iran to an Azeri family.
Her husband, who was also a political activist, was executed on the date of the couple's anniversary. His execution became her motivation to fight against capital punishment.
She is currently living and working in Germany.
She is the mother of two daughters.
In February 2007, she founded the Zentralrat der Ex-Muslime (Central Council of Ex-Muslims) and her life is threatened by islamic fundamentalists ever since. She has been placed under 24h police protection.
