Mindelo (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Mindelu, São Vicente Crioulo: Mindel) is Cape Verde's second major city and community located in the northwest of the island of São Vicente overlooking the Mindelo Bay and the island of Santo Antão.
