[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 09:23, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Are you still in need of adoption?
Hello Millancad,
I noticed you are or were looking for adoption by an experience Wikipedian. If you still need help around Wp, be sure to contact me at my talk page or through e-mail, and I shall help you as much as possible.--Saoshyant talk / contribs (please join WP:Portugal or WP:SPOKEN) 13:26, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hullo. Glad you are understanding how things work around here.
- Regarding sources, reputable would be an important publication (National Geographic, for instance) or a news channel/web site (think CNN or BBC). Interviews are not always impartial, but they are a good source to quote the person you are writing an article about, but you have to link to the interview in the references.
- Regarding the case that you know the person, no, it does not fall under original research as far as I know, but it does fall under NPOV, i.e. if you know the person, you are probably biased in regards to her. Not that I'm saying you are biased, just what the consensus would be.
- Hope this helps.--Saoshyant talk / contribs (please join WP:Portugal or WP:SPOKEN) 13:20, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Iroh Pointing.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Iroh Pointing.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:08, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Possible mistake in your signature
Hello. The word "wrong" in your signature, ɱўɭĩєWhat did I dowrong is probably supposed to link to your talk page, but instead links to Usertalk:Millancad. I say probably, because it is possible that the link is intended, and you want the word to link to Usertalk:Millancad. If you want to change it to link to your talk page, change the link to User_talk:Millancad (add an underscore between user and talk), so that the signature becomes ɱўɭĩєWhat did I dowrong .
Thank you, and happy editing! Goldfritter 15:05, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
