[edit] Crowd size?

Given the controversy/debate that ensued following the Million Man March, I think it would be beneficial to include the estimated/official crowd sizes (when each becomes available). - Refugee621 02:27, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

This blog have two pictures, side by side of the attendence, this year, and 10 years past. Anyone want to try posting this as NPOV? 66.173.192.96 02:18, 21 October 2005 (UTC) http://www.independentconservative.com/2005/10/16/not_a_million/

[edit] Updating

This page, and Louis Farrakhan, are in major need of updating. freestylefrappe 23:16, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

Is there really any point in including, at the bottom, the "link to a weblog critical of the MMM"? It doesn't point to the relevant post, so it seems like self-promotion on the blogger's part.

Also, can anyone find a link to transcripts of the speeches? I'd like to post specific details of Mr. Farrakhan's speech, but they would be rejected as nonsense unless I can prove he actually said it.

[edit] Trivia

I deleted this section. Whether or not the crowd exceeded 1 million is the subject of some controversy. A research study cited in the 'Million Man March' article states that one million people was within the error estimate, and the people who organised the march estimated much higher. In contrast the police estimated much lower. Given that, it is erroneous for us to state with certainty the number who attended either march. --Davril2020 06:38, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Non-trivia

But at the moment there is absolutely nothing in the article to indicate how much impact this event made. Carina22 20:22, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Ifsomeone wants to source the details of the impact, they can put it in. However its prior presentation was entirely inappropriate. --Davril2020 22:25, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
