Isn't a root page supposed to have a common introduction to the topic? I'm still reading the idea, and think I dislike it, but that shouldn't stop you from doing it if you think it helps. --Scott Davis ^Talk 10:20, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

category:Military of Australia claims this is the main article. This index/root page does not make compelling reading for a main article. As the main article, I want to tag it as importance=Top, but I can't in good conscience. Perhaps it should return to a redirect to Australian Defence Force. I agree, this page is basically a list of ADF stuff anyway. Unless we get some articles on defence prior to the ADF, then this page could be useful. --Peta 12:42, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
