Are there any particular time periods that can be applied to the term 'ancient times'? Jaberwocky6669 04:58, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Battle of Carrhae

I included the Battle of Carrhae because from this source it said that it was fought in Iraq [1], just realised it was actually fought in eastern Turkey (still Mesopotamia though) - do you think it should be removed since it was not technically iraq?? Astrokey44 03:45, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Punishment of the Shiites

Someone should write about how the Shiites led the rebellion against the British in the 1920's and how the Sunni's were put into power by the British in order to punish the Shiites. The result was the oppression of the Shiites for about 80 years which ended with the US invasion in 2003.
