Milwaukee Electric Tool Company

The Milwaukee Electric Tool Company is a manufacturer of heavy-duty portable electric power tools and accessories.

The company was established by A. F. Siebert in 1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Milwaukee Electric Tool Company manufactures its products in both 120 and 230 volt configurations. Their product line includes some 500 power tool models, including reciprocating saws, circular saws, drills, driver drills, hammer drills, rotary hammers, band saws, bench grinders and sanders.

In an example of a genericized trademark, reciprocating saws are generally called "Sawzalls", their Milwaukee Tool brand name, regardless of their brand or model. The company is now headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin, with production facilities currently operating in Greenwood (150,000 sq. ft. operational since 2002), Jackson (60,000 sq. ft. plant operational since 1974) and Kosciusko (75,000 sq. ft. operational since 1995), Mississippi ; Blytheville, Arkansas (operating since 1976) and Matamoros, Mexico.

All Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation products are shipped from their warehouse located in Olive Branch, Mississippi, a city located south of Memphis, Tennessee.
