Lake Millstatt (German: Millstätter See) is the second largest lake of Carinthia, Austria, to the North-East of the small city Spittal. It has a length of aproximately 12 kilometres and is up to 1.8 kilometres wide. At its deepest point it is 142 metres deep, and it can reach 25 °C in summer. The mountains in its north are up to 2000 metres high, in its south up to 900 metres. It is one of Carinthia's warmest lakes, as the water flows very slowly.
The name derives from the town Millstatt at the shore.
