Mill strand is an integrated school near the town of portrush. Its motto is 'a place in the sun for everyone'.It has a nursery facilaty and also has a ball court. The school has a principal named Mr.Phillip Reid. He has taught in many other schools. The school also has a few after school clubs it has quior club,drama club and football club.

Mill Strand's key aim when it first opened in 1987 was to educate children together from the 2 main religions of Northern Ireland. Also, no matter of religion, colour, gender or physical/ mental abilities.

The School, like more or less all other integrated schools in Northern Ireland, belief in 3 main prinicples;

1, Integration 2, Child Centre Education 3, Parental Involvement
