[edit] Milkybar Kid

The Milkybar Kid has been used in television advertising promoting Nestlé Milkybar in the countries where it is sold. The Milkybar Kid is a blonde haired, spectacle-wearing young boy, usually dressed as a cowboy, whose catch phrase is "The Milkybars are on me!". The commercials usually take place in a Wild West setting. Both live-action and animated ads have been produced.

In the UK the commercials were originally accompanied by a jingle extolling "the goodness that's in Milkybar". In more recent revivals of the campaign, probably due to tighter advertising regulations, the jingle has been revised to refer to "the good taste that's in Milkybar". The pronunciation of the company's name has also changed from "nessul" to the more correct "ness-lay".

The Milkybar Kid made his debut in 1961, and has been played by a number of actors.

John Cornelius played The Milky Bar Kid in the 1970s.[citation needed]

He is believed to have been most recently played by Simon Parr of Huddersfield, England. Sam Baker of Hampshire, England took the role in the mid 1990's from Paul Lyttle from Berkshire, England who had the role from 1991-1994. Samuel Baker later went on to play professional rugby in the Dutch Premiership.

Since 1971, Galak has been promoted using a story about two children, Yann and Marina with a white dolphin named Oum. In commercials the dolphin and the children commonly overcome villains like pirates or sharks.
