Military brat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Military brat (or simply brat) is a term for someone who grew up while his or her parent or parents serve or served in the armed forces.[1] While the term "brat" is commonly utilized in a derogatory manner, in military communities brat is neither a subjective nor a judgmental term. One either is a military brat or one is not; its usage is unrelated to that of "spoiled brat".[2] A military brat can also be someone that was born into a military family that subsequently left the armed forces.
