Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne

Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne (MOTBY) was opened in 1942 as a U.S. military base located in New York Harbor on the eastern side of the City of Bayonne, New Jersey.

In 1999, U.S. Army ceased its operation at MOTBY. MOTBY was later renamed to The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor, which is being redeveloped by the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority (BLRA) into a mix-used waterfront community of residential, light industrial, commercial, and recreational space.
