Milica of Nemanja

Milica Hrebeljanović (née Nemanjić; 1300s - 1405) was Regent of Serbia, wife of Prince Lazar (1329–1389) and mother of Stefan Lazarević. She was the daughter of Prince Vratko, member of minor Branch House of Nemanjić. She was the 4th cousin once removed of Emperor Dušan of Serbia. She maried prince Lazar, son of Imperial chancelor Pribac Hrebeljanović. After death of her husband she took monastic vovs in monastery Ljubostinja as Evgenija. She was canonised by the Serbian Orthodox Church.
