Miliana

Miliana (Arabic: مليانا‎) is a town in Ain Defla Province, northwestern Algeria. Miliana was founded in the 10th century. It fell under French control in 1842.

It is located at around 36°18′36″N, 2°9′44″E, and is approximately 120km west of the Algerian capital, Algiers. The population was estimated at 40,000 in 2005.[1]
