Milford Independent School District

Milford Independent School District is a public school district based in Milford, Texas (USA).
The district is located in southern Ellis County and extends into a small portion of Hill County. Milford is a rural town of 700 people. Located on Interstate 35E about halfway between Dallas and Waco, Texas, Milford is one of the oldest towns in Ellis County. Milford was founded in the early 1850's. The founders were concerned about education, and they donated a number of town lots for the building of a school. Milford ISD has approximately 230 students in grades PK-12. Milford ISD has one school that serves students in grades pre-kindergarten though twelve. The sports mascot is a bulldog.
