Miletich Fighting Systems (MFS) is a mixed martial arts training organization headed by former UFC Lightweight/Welterweight Champion Pat Miletich. MFS was founded in 1997 by Miletich and combines elements of muay Thai, Western boxing and wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. MFS is headquartered in Miletich's hometown of Bettendorf, Iowa, but has other locations across the United States and Canada. MFS boasts several former mixed martial arts world champions. Its elite-level fighters mostly compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion. MFS also works with several law enforcement agencies to provide mixed martial arts training to police officers and security personnel.
