Miles Macdonell Collegiate is a high school in Winnipeg, Manitoba in the River East Transcona School Division opened in 1952. It is one of the five schools in Manitoba that participate in the International Baccalaureate Program. The schools team name is the Miles Mac Buckeyes (named after a type of tree), and the schools colours are green, gold, and white. The school is generally very successful in most sports its teams participate in, with the football, volleyball, basketball and the hockey team being very successful.

In only its third year in the WHSFL, the Miles MacDonell Buckeyes have been to the city championship twice (2003, 2005), winning it all in 2005. The team did lose many starters following this championship season, including Brian Paradis (QB), Erin Sesak (RB), Darrel Kahlian (RB), Gregg Bell (REC), Matt Picard (OL, DL), Braden Wilks (DL), Justin Shanifar (DL), Dan Hrynick (LB), Alex Smerchinski (LB), Rees Ewonchuk (DB), Nathan Champagne (DB), and Matt Davidson (DB). The future looks bright for the Buckeyes with third year players returning in Steve Hrynick (S), Jeremy Larocque (OL, DL) and Kyle Atkinson (RB) and second year players in Josh Doherty (REC), Trent Goertz (RB), Anthony Beach (OL, DL), Matt Scibberas (OL, DL, K) Matt Bevilacqua (LB), Kris Rents (DB) and Tyler Kasdorf (RB) as well as plenty of new Buckeyes, Kirkland Harper (LB), Mike Hazel (QB, P), Thomas Klinger (QB), J.P. Ferrier (DB) and Brett Bell (DB).

The school has one of the best music programs in city, and the best recording studio in any school in Manitoba. A few albums have been produced in the school, which have gone on to be quite popular, getting lots of local air play.

It is one of the few high schools in Manitoba to have an active alumni association, the Miles MacDonell Collegiate Alumni Association with its own web site. This web site has a full school history and much historical information on the local area.
