Mile Oak

Mile Oak is a district of Portslade in Hove, in the county of East Sussex, England.
Mile Oak is on the edge of the South Downs and as such has much farmland nearby. Mile Oak has been intersected by the A27 dual carriageway since the 1980's which has somewhat cut off the community from the rural surroundings.
Local amenities include Mile Oak's own football club, a public library, The Mile Oak Inn public house and Mile Oak Farm.
