Mile High Comics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mile High Comics is a chain of comic book stores founded by Chuck Rozanski in 1969 from his parents' basement in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Mile High Comics frequently placed ads in Marvel comics in the 1980s listing back issues of comic books that could be purchased through the mail, and expanded to sell via the internet in the late 1990s.
For several years, Rozanski has done a column for Comics Buyer's Guide called Tales From the Database.
The company gained momentum after the discovery by Rozanski of what has come to be known as "The Mile High Collection", an extensive collection of high grade Golden age comics.
In 2003, Chuck won the Defender of Liberty Award from Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. [1]
