Milan Rajlić

Milan Rajlić (born October 16, 1916. in Travnik - died May 10, 1952. in Kraljevo) is a former Yugoslav and Bosnian football player.
He was one of the legends of football in Sarajevo in 1930s and 1940s. He started playing football in Slavija Sarajevo in 1933. He played more than 150 games for the club and scored 65 goals. In 1941, World War II came to Sarajevo and in 1945. he countinued to play football. At first, he played for FK Željezničar. He was a player and a coach at the same time from 1945 to 1947. He was a topscorer of the club in those years.
In 1947, he was ordered by authorities to join newly founded FK Sarajevo for which he played until 1949. He moved to Kraljevo that same year where he played for local FK Sloga Kraljevo. He died in 1952. at the age of 37. Before the Yugoslav wars, Sloga Kraljevo used to organize an annual tournament named after Milan Rajlić. Regular participants were Sloga, Sarajevo and Željezničar, all of them his former clubs.
He also played for Yugoslav national team on one occasion in 1940. He played two more games for "B" team.
