[edit] help on Connecticut page

Seems like we have someone running a bot on that page or doing something because there's always (somewhat) destructive edits from IP addresses.

I assume you mean Connecticut (to name a specific page) -- I took a look, doesn't look like anything too serious compared to what could be going on, but does look to be a hassle. For the time being, I've added it to the IRC watchlist for recent changes patrol. Feel free to see WP:VAND, WP:CUV, or WP:REVERT for some potentially helpful information. You can also report persistent vandals to WP:AIV for investigation and possible blocking. Hope that helps; happy editing! Luna Santin 21:41, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What's going on with Connecticut?

I am not too sure. I am a relatively user, and want to be careful to discuss and not just revert. At least one of the editors was trying to copy a similar list from Florida. I am not shocked that some editors are not aware of the difference between city and town in Connecticut, which is mildly important and different from other states. Anyhow, I don't see anything systematic in their edits, maybe a mix of mistakes, awkward editing without discussion, and a little vandalism? But please do let me know if I am doing something wrong. [edit] Help with Abu Musab al-Zarqawi page

I just looked at the home page and the recently featured article, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is showing up as an edit link. Seems like there was some kind of move vandalism but I can't find the page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mikemillerdc (talkcontribs).

Yes, it apparently was move-vandalised, but the article is available again (and now protected). Sandstein 18:35, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
