[edit] Michael Maxson

It is felt that the article you created at Michael Maxson is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:Mikemaxson, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information. Fan-1967 15:24, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm not using the URLs as a redirect link, simply as a source.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mikemaxson (talkcontribs).

On talk pages and in discussions, please sign your posts by typing four tilde's (~~~~) at the end of your entry. It will translate to your user name with the date and time.
The issue isn't with the link. It's simply that this is an encyclopedia; we have articles only on Notable subjects. You are free to describe yourself on your User Page, within reasonable limits. No need for the {{hangon}} tag, no one's going to delete it. You just do not meet the standards of a notable article subject. Fan-1967 15:42, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Just as a note, you might want to avoid listing your e-mail address. Spammers scan these pages all the time to harvest e-mails. If you list your address on your account (click on my preferences at the top of the page) people can e-mail you by clicking the E-mail this user on the left side of the page without your actual address being visible.
