hello
[edit] Image:Zildjiancrash.jpg
Hi! Could you upload this photo on commons? Not only English wikipedia wants pictures of cymbals ;) Thanks in advance, Wyglif SMS 17:11, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think a link is needed. You want to paste there your photo? It cannot be done, because picture resides on English "media storage", not on international commons. I want on commons to add it to a polish article about cymbals. Just upload it again, but on commons and than add it here. And please, post your comments/responses etc. on my talk page, not my user page, cause I've hardly noticed last one ;) Wyglif SMS 20:24, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:3 planes.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:3 planes.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 12:48, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- That image is fair use only on the Google Earth article. On the Area 51 article it's just a copyvio. I already told you this in this message, but you just ignored that, blanked my message, and re-added the copyvio image anyway. Do not add this image again. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 15:15, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
