[edit] Early life
Born Hyo-Sung Sung (a name whose true meaning is shrouded in mystery), Mike Fields was adopted by Robert and Elizabeth Fields of Pennsylvania. Less than one year old, Fields was picked up at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Before long, he developed chicken pox and measles. Robert and Elizabeth Fields now understood why this child had been up for adoption. Fields has one sister two years his senior, Elizabeth Regina.
Growing up in Stroudsburg, Fields enjoyed scaling gigantic mounds of dirt and rocks. In this rural setting, the property served as a great setting for frequent adventures. A duck pond, swingset, and blackberry bush were the main attractions and offered hours of entertainment.
After three years living in Stroudsburg, the Fields moved east to Wyomissing. This is where Fields would embark on a spectacular journey.

[edit] Elementary School
Fields attended the Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center.[1] His first grade teacher, Mrs. Shannon, once labeled Fields as a tattletale after reporting a student who had spilled a can full of pencils. While in second grade, his teacher, Mrs. Weidner, consoled Fields when his lunch box's contents were spilled. These events would play a key role in the development of Fields' personality.
In the midst of his fourth grade endeavor, Fields' and his classmates had the opportunity to raise chicks. He was quoted as saying, "I hope my chick has a nice nose." His teacher, Ms. Weidner (cousin of his second grade teacher), couldn't help but smile at this adorable Asian child. Fields then looked at her and added, "Now you, you have a great nose!" His peers were delighted.
It was at this moment that Fields strived to perfect his sense of humor.

There, Mike attended the Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School. He was a fairly outspoken student and was known for his sense of humor. Mike was voted class clown and continues his reign of comedic dominance over his peers.
