Michael LaTorra writes and teaches in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. He is the author of A Warrior Blends with Life: A Modern Tao (1997). He serves as President of the Daibutsuji Zen Temple and on the Board of Directors of the the World Transhumanist Association and the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies.
