Talk:Miklós Jancsó
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
i left the original stub text as it was. what Jancsó's most important works are (or were) are beyond my competence - however, 1) i used the info Hungarian Wikipedia's Jancsó page wherever there was any conflict in date specifications with my other point of reference: the webpage i list as a link; 2) i myself am familiar with Jancsó's post-60's curent Hungarian work, thus i suggest it should be clarified how his more recent work (ie. since the trilogy mentioned) is completely different, both in style and otherwise, from his earlier stuff now described in both texts. these later films seem to be relevant at least from a Hungarian perspective; 3) his role in contemporary Hungarian culture and his emblematic promotion of various liberal social issues are also worth mentioning; all constructive comments are welcome too ;] cheers - DD. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ddani (talk • contribs) 20:43, 17 July 2006.
