Talk:Mikelle Biggs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I tried many times to call the Hot Line number published at the time of Mikelle Biggs's disappearance, but couldn't get through. I called the Mesa police three times to report the shockingly suspicious activity in this neighborhood at the exact time this crime went down. I spoke with a Mesa police officer who was manning 'desk calls.' Supposedly she was writing down what I was telling her, but I had my doubts. I tried to contact the Biggs family, but they were unreachable. I called a couple of Biggs listed in the phone book but they were not related and did not know the family. I made numerous calls to the Mesa police determined to get them to pay attention to what we witnessed. NEVER WERE MY CALLS ACKNOWLEDGED OR RETURNED. NEVER WERE WE (I or my husband) CONTACTED. I just can't understand how this information was overlooked or considered of no importance and ignored. So much time has passed now the guy is probably long gone from the area. SHAME ON THE MESA POLICE! We moved to Iowa in 2000, but it still bugs me when I think back to that day. If the police had listened to us and acted promptly perhaps this incident would have had a different outcome. We knew where that truck was parked (during that time period) on a regular basis. I don't understand how this write in box works, but I'm giving it a try... 69.66.196.56 18:10, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
