@Her ethnic background has always been a controversial issue. Some people think that she is Hispanic but she is full Japanese.:

In that case it might be better to scrap the first sentence. Although I'm curious as to who think she's Hispanic - to me she looks distinctly Asian. Please also read WP:WEASEL. Shinobu 01:03, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

On the "THE END" cover and the whole "NANA starring MIKA NAKASHIMA" thing, she definitely looks Hispanic, and on some singles she doesn't look Asian. The fansites above were removed. The first one only has a paragraph about the artist. The second link is just a picture gallery and a collection of youtube links.
