Michael Wayne "The Eastside Assassin" Burnett (born April 12, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American mixed martial arts fighter who was featured on The Ultimate Fighter 4. His UFC record is 2-1, with his last fight on January 8, 1999. He defeated Eugenio Tadeau by TKO (strikes) at UFC 16, followed by a split decision loss to Pat Miletich at UFC Brazil. The fight with Miletich was to determine the first UFC Lightweight champion. Burnett then won a unanimous decision over Townsend Saunders at UFC 18.

On The Ultimate Fighter 4, Burnett was eliminated in the first round by Din Thomas via a triangle choke. Late in the show, he was diagnosed with a neck problem that required surgery for him to fight again, which prevented from fighting at the live finale.
