Michael 'Mike' Patterson is a former Australian rules football player who played in the VFL between 1959 and 1969 for the Richmond Football Club. The "Swamp Fox", as he was affectionately known, was a ruckman.
He was coach of St Kilda from 1978 until Round 2 of 1980. He was then coach of Richmond in 1984.
