Michael Jonathan Pagel (born September 13, 1960 in Douglas, Arizona), was a former American professional football player who was selected by the Baltimore Colts in the 4th round of the 1982 NFL Draft. A 6'2", 206 lbs. quarterback from Arizona State, Pagel played in 12 NFL seasons from 1982-1993. Considered to be the next successor to Bert Jones, Pagel's NFL career never flourished as he took on the role of a backup.
