Mike Nagy

Mike Nagy is the federal Green Party candidate for the Guelph electoral district (riding) in Ontario.

Born in Hamilton in 1961[1], Mike earned his BA in Geography and Political Science at McMaster University. Following graduation, Mike pursued a career in business and has worked in Sales/Marketing and Management. He is currently employed with an engineering consulting firm for the safety and risk management industry and power generation sector.[2]

Mike's link to Guelph goes far back as his mother was born and raised here while his grandfather worked at the Guelph Mercury. Mike's platform includes enhancing its historical and contemporary contribution to the region.[3]

In the 2004 federal election (38th General Election), Mike received 7.35% of the vote in 3866 of 53850 votes cast.[4]

In the last federal election (39th General Election, 2006), Mike received 8.7% of the vote in 5376 of 61635 votes cast.
