Michael (Mike) Lloyd Miller (born February 19, 1980 in Mitchell, South Dakota, United States) is an American professional basketball player currently with the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies. He attended the University of Florida from 1998 until 2000. As a sophomore, he led the Gators to the 2000 NCAA Championship game, losing to Michigan State. He hit perhaps the most dramatic shot of the tournament that year in the opening round versus Butler. As the 5 seed, the Gators were trailing by one to underdog Butler, but Miller drove to the basket and laid it in as time expired. That summer, he was taken with the 5th overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. While playing for the Magic, he developed a very good friendship with superstar Tracy McGrady. Miller would win the 2001 Schick Rookie of the Year Award while being the only first-year player to appear in all 82 regular season games. He has two sons named Mason and Mavrick.

He was the recipient of the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award for the 2005-06 NBA season. He averaged ppg 13.7 rpg 5.4 apg 2.7 while shooting 47% from the field and 41% from the 3. He made 138-339 shots from 3 and 354-760 from the field, whlie playing 30.6 minutes per game.

On January 3, 2007 Miller made 9 three-pointers in a win over the Golden State Warriors, breaking Sam Mack's Grizzlies franchise record of eight in a game set in February 1999.[1] The two previous games Miller hit 7 threes.[2] This made him the first NBA player to hit at least seven three-pointers in three consecutive games[3] since the Dallas Mavericks' George McCloud achieved it in 1996.[4]
