Mike McRoberts

Mike McRoberts is a New Zealand television and radio journalist. He began his career in 1984 as a cadet at Radio New Zealand. In 1986 he completed a journalism diploma from Christchurch Polytechnic.

In 1995, he accepted an offer as a sports reporter for TVNZ. In 1998 he moved across to current affairs joining the Holmes programme. Mike covered the 2000 Fiji Coup for the programme, reporting from what was then one of the world’s hotspots.

He is currently a presenter for Canadian-owned TV3.
