Mike Maddux

Mike Maddux (born August 27, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio), older brother of Greg Maddux, was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He attended college at the University of Texas at El Paso. He currently serves as the pitching coach for the Milwaukee Brewers.

In a career spanning from 1986 to 2000, the journeyman pitcher played for the Philadelphia Phillies, the Los Angeles Dodgers (in two stints), the San Diego Padres, the New York Mets, the Boston Red Sox, the Seattle Mariners, the former Montreal Expos, and the Houston Astros.
In 478 career games, mostly working as a relief pitcher, Maddux won 39 games, lost 37 games, pitched 861 and 2/3 innings, and compiled a 4.05 ERA.

- In 1986 while a rookie with the Phillies he faced brother Greg of the Chicago Cubs. Greg was victorious that day. It marked the first time two rookie brothers had faced each other.
