Mike Jorgensen

Michael Jorgensen (born August 16, 1948, Passaic, New Jersey) was a First Baseman for the New York Mets (1968, 1970-71 and 1980-83), Montreal Expos (1972-77), Oakland Athletics (1977),Texas Rangers (1978-79), Atlanta Braves (1983-84) and St. Louis Cardinals (1984-85).

- He didn't reach the postseason until his final season when he helped the Cardinals win the 1985 NL Pennant.
- He won the 1973 NL Gold Glove Award at First Base.
- In 1974 he broke the Expos' single season on-base percentage record with .444
- In 17 seasons he played in 1,633 Games, had 3,421 At Bats, 429 Runs, 833 Hits, 132 Doubles, 13 Triples, 95 Home Runs, 426 RBI, 58 Stolen Bases, 532 Walks, .243 Batting Average, .347 On-base percentage, .373 Slugging Percentage, 1,276 Total Bases, 31 Sacrifice Hits, 25 Sacrifice Flies and 51 Intentional Walks.
- He also briefly managed the Cardinals in 1995 where he posted a 42-54 win-loss record.
