Mike Johnson is an American bassist. He replaced Lou Barlow in Dinosaur Jr in 1989 and played with the band primarily in live performance, although he also contributed his talents to much of Dinosaur Jr's releases between 1991 and 1997. He was also the bassist for 1990's industrial rock band The Laughingstock.[1] He later went on to be part of the Mark Lanegan band and then contributed to the Queens of the Stoneage "project".
