Mike Esposito (comics)

Mike Esposito, born in 1927, became one of the comic industries top artists, on his own or as a team partnered with Ross Andru. Originally Mike had dreams of becoming an animator at Disney. The dreams ended when his mother did not want him to leave NYC for the coast. Publishing was big in NYC and comics were a natural.

Mike & Ross published comics under the name MikeRoss Publications in the 1950s. Among the titles published:

A paparazzi character was named after him on the Smallville episode, Trespass.

In 2007 Mike Esposito and Ross Andru were the subject of a biography titled Partners For Life.
