Mike Brumley (baseball catcher)

Tony Mike Brumley (born July 10, 1938 in Granite, Oklahoma) is a former catcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Washington Senators (1964-1966). Brumley batted left handed and threw right handed. He is father of infielder Mike Brumley.

A three-time minor league All-Star, Brumley appeared in a career-high 136 games with the new Washington Senators during his rookie season, but was relegated to a reserve role after hitting only .244.

In a three-season career, Brumley was a .229 hitter with five home runs and 50 RBI in 295 games. He posted a .991 fielding percentage with only 10 errors in 1106 chances.
