Mike Briggs

Mike Briggs served in the California State Assembly from 1998 until 2002. He represented the 29th district. He succeeded Chuck Poochigian who made a successful run for the State Senate. Briggs stepped down after just two terms in 2002 to run for Congress. Although he had the endorsement of Fresno Mayor Alan Autry he ultimatetly lost the primary to Devin Nunes.
